How do you cite an article?
First, go to Merion Mercy’s website. Click “quick links” and choose Library Media Services.
Second, click Citation Style Guides under MMA Library. For the best results download the first one which is the MLA handout. Once you download the document, scroll down to number 6 which shows how to cite an online database. That will show you how to cite your database in the easiest way.
The information you need to gather in order to cite a database is the author’s first and last name, the name of the article or book title, the name of the magazine or book that it came from, the name of the database, if it was online or from text, the date accessed, and the name of the website.
